It's always Christmas here!!

Downstairs.

It was my birthday days and days ago but I didn't notice the gifts on the patio. I open one up and it is from the old lady downstairs. It's a huge Christmas decoration. There is also a gift from YV and it's a red Christmas tree. I say "It's always Christmas".

I walk over to see YV and she has red velvet columns all over her porch. She tells me she is letting the animals wander outside. There is hair everywhere. As I leave, I notice that all the palm trees are draped in purple silk and it's blowing in the wind.

THAT HOUSE!!!!

I am walking up the street and there is a girl surrounded by children at the door of a house. It is an orphanage. She is gardening. I walk quickly up the street to get past them. As I make my way up the hill snaking back and forth behind the houses, I can hear the girl saying things about the plants. She is blaming me for the plants. She keeps saying that once again I have messed everything up by planting this or that. No matter how far away I go, I can still hear her. So finally I turn around and I start to yell at her. I tell her that I have never lived in the place where she is. She mocks me and says "how many places did you live in NY -- I bet you can't remember half of them" and I turn around and yell "I have only been here for 2 years and we bought our place so we have only lived in one house" I point up the street "... and it is THAT HOUSE"

only I really shout the words THAT HOUSE out loud and it wakes me up.

I'll do what you want...Running wild

I am at a Duran Duran concert. It is a small venue. Suspiciously like the black box theater at my college. I am behind the stage once again, just like on Unplugged. The show is good but they don't play my request which is "Come up and see me (Make Me Smile)".

After the show we are waiting outside of the hotel lobby. I don't know who we are waiting for. I think I am waiting for them to wheel my dad out - though I don't know why he is in a wheelchair. It must be NY because everyone is wearing dark colors and overcoats. People are streaming out of the hotel lobby - i guess the concert was in the basement. A group of people stop to tell me that they are all meeting at "Frankies" and point towards where it is. It looks to be a downstairs pub like the Stoned Crow in NY. I tell them I will see them there. I am humming "Come up and see me...." and still waiting as the crowd disperses.

Everything is Haunted

I feel so guilty. I told JM to rent this apartment and she is telling me that it is haunted. Not in that delightful quirky way - but in a harrowing shaking way. The whole place has slanted rooms that have wooden beams jutting across the ceilings. It is terrifying to walk through.

She tells me that she has learnt to deal with it by making sure there are sensible shoes in every room and declaring her intentions aloud as she walks around. I watch her do this in front of the mirror of the medicine cabinet. There is a tube of V05 hair balm on the counter.
