Hair-n-Pants
The Finn brothers are playing in a double loft room. One side of the room is crowded, but in the other there are just a few people milling about. Neil asks if anyone has any hair product that he can borrow. I say "sorry, I don't" but look in my bag and there are tiny travel size containers of hairspray and styling product. I am surprised since I don't usually think about things like that. So I lend them to him, and help him fix his hair a bit. I comment that he has a nice texture to his hair.
DB and I are driving both our families across the country through fields of fireflies and towards the water. We both arrive at the tollbooths at the water and when you look out, you can see a black tornado and a gathering storm. We have to hurry, but the tollbooth operators have deserted their posts. We run to an empty apartment. They are charging thousands of dollars to rent the whole house, but there is a two bedroom on the top floor that is lovely. I ask how much they want a month for it and they want 2000$. Too much right now but maybe later this year. We set up lawn chairs in the grass and wait for the storm to hit us.
